CPR

Why Learn CPR?

MANY DEATHS CAN BE PREVENTED IF THE VICTIM RECEIVES PROMPT HELP - IF SOMEONE TRAINED IN CPR PROVIDES PROPER LIFE-SAVING MEASURES UNTIL TRAINED PROFESSIONALS TAKE OVER.
YOU CAN BE THE DIFFERENCE!

Fire Safety

The Need for Fire Safety

Fire Safety is taught in early education to children during each October, which is Nationally recognized as Fire Prevention Month. First Responder, Inc. is here to assist in reinforcing that to the adult learner for home, work, or anyplace that will help prevent fire related injuries. Learn fire extinguisher uses, testing, and more.

First Aid & Disasters

First Aid & Disaster Preparedness

First Responder Inc. offers many courses related to First Aid, many of which are regulated by the National Safety Council. Planning for emergencies is taught from the early grade school levels, and should continue into our businesses.  We can help evaluate your home or business and develop an exit strategy for your family or employees that will allow for a structured plan in the event of an emergency.

Hands on Skills Training First Aid & CPR

Course Description

The hands-on skills training and testing must be completed within 45 days from the date of passing the online written exam. The participant must provide to the Training Center the printout proof of the successful completion of the online course(s) in order to participate in the sessions(s).

A CPR student manual is required for the CPR hands-on skills session and a First Aid student manual is required for the First Aid hands-on skills session. If the participant wants to be hands-on skill tested for both online courses, we recommend using the Standard First Aid and CPR student manual. The manuals give the participant the information learned during the online courses and the guidelines for the practice and testing of the skills learned. Participants who successfully complete both the online course and its corresponding hands-on skills training and testing are eligible to receive a National Safety Council course completion card from the local Training Center.

Course is 1 hour in length.
